Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to Millard North High School and the 2025-2026 school year! We are delighted to have you as part of our Mustang family and look forward to an exciting year ahead. These high school years are a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and create memories, and we’re honored to walk this journey with you.
As I begin my fourth year as Principal and my 22nd year at Millard North, I am filled with pride in our incredible community and the values we uphold.
At Millard North, we embrace the spirit of the International Baccalaureate (IB) learner profiles, striving to cultivate a community of lifelong learners. We encourage our students to be Knowledgeable about the world around them, Inquirers who ask thoughtful questions, and Thinkers who approach challenges with depth and creativity.
We support our students in becoming effective Communicators, expressing themselves in diverse ways, and Caring individuals who show compassion for themselves and others.
We also recognize the importance of being Balanced, managing academics, activities, and self-care to maintain well-being. We encourage our students to be Risk-takers, ready to embrace new learning opportunities, and Reflective, continuously considering how they can grow and improve.
This handbook is designed to help you navigate both school-specific procedures and district-wide policies approved by the Millard Board of Education. We aim to be Principled, making choices that reflect integrity and fairness, and Open-minded, respecting the perspectives and cultures of those around us. Together, with the support of your family, we will work to ensure that you have the opportunity to learn, achieve, and excel.
Our goal is to maintain a nurturing environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed. Let’s make this an outstanding year of discovery, growth, and achievement.
Sincerely,
Dr. Aaron Bearinger
Principal
