Important Dates for the Class of 2020

Monday, September 16th – During Mustang Time - MNHS Auditorium - Senior Meeting—School Traditions will be present to hand out catalogs and discuss announcements and cap and gown information.


September 26th & 27th -  MNHS Cafeteria – Jostens at MNHS to take orders during lunch - deposit due at that time.  If your student attends the afternoon Academies they may drop off their order with Mrs. Blycker in the 9-12 office and she will turn it in for them.


October 25th, 4:00 p.m., MNHS – Deadline for senior pictures due to Sarah Crotzer in Room 1105. Specifications are listed on MNHS website


December 14th, 8:00 a.m., MNHS – ACT Test – Last ACT test for most college applications


April – Graduation announcements delivered and handed out during 5th hour by Jostens


 April – Commencement Speech applications available


Mid April – Commencement Speech Try-outs


Mid April - Deadline for scholarships offered to be given to Counseling Office for listing in Honors Night and Graduation Booklets


 End of April,– Senior Banquet 6:00pm – 8:00 pm (students only)


May 14th, 6:00 p.m., MNHS Auditorium - Honors Night – Scholarships, National Honor Society Stoles, Honor Cords, IB Stoles, Senior Academic Letters


Mid May, During School Day, MNHS -  Cap and Gown Delivery


May 22nd  9:00am-10:00am, Baxter Arena – Graduation Rehearsal


May 24, Sunday, 11:00am Baxter Arena – Commencement

·  1st Semester Academic Smart Goal and Action Plan

·  2nd Semester Academic Smart Goal and Action Plan

·  Updated Resume using Naviance Resume Builder

·  Do What You Are (DWYA) Inventory and follow up reflection questions

(Only if you did not complete in EDL during sophomore or junior year)

·  Pay Transcript Fee, Finalize “My Game Plan”, and complete Senior Survey (May)

·  Make sure all 11 questions are complete by May 1st (this is a graduation requirement).
