Congratulations MNHS DECA at State

 The students did a fantastic job in competition and represented Millard North well at State DECA.  The results are below. The bold names are those that will be representing Millard North and NE DECA at the International Career Development Conference in April!

1st Place
Bobby Martin, Ryan Jana, and Chandler Rossitto in the category of Business Services Operations Research. Their project partnered with BuilderTrend and they developed a strategic plan to enhance customer experience. 

1st Place
Derek Hamling and Nolan Spiecher in the category of Hospitality and Tourism Operations Research. Their project partnered with the Durham Museum and they developed a strategic plan to enhance customer experience. 

1st Place
Alex Nervig in the category of Sports and Entertainment Marketing Operations Research. She partnered with the Omaha Lancer to develop a strategic plan to enhance customer experience. 

2nd Place
Breanne Beutler, Margarita Pipinos, and Leily Zhu in the category of Buying and Merchandising Operations Research. Their project partnered with Bridal Traditions and they developed a strategic plan to enhance customer experience.

They were selected as one of the top 50 teams (and the only one from Nebraska!) out of over 1100 registered teams from 25 countries to advance to the semi-finals in a competition for high school tech entrepreneurs! They will be mentored by a UCLA MBA grad student, who will help them get ready to make a pitch to investors. Their task was to develop a product that uses technology to solve a problem they see in the world, and the issue they chose to address was declining student interest in STEM fields during middle school. Ask them to tell you more if you see them!
