Mr. McEnaney's Students Explore Break-Out Boxes in Science

Congratulations to the Millard North Dance Team!  The girls competed in the large varsity division at the National Dance Team Competition in Orlando Florida. They placed 2nd place in jazz behind
Coral Reef High School out of Miami, Florida and they placed 4th in Pom behind
two team teams from Tennessee and one from Indiana.

This year was our best combined placement in the years we have been competing at the competition.

  • Congratulations MNHS Debate and Speech Teams - Among the Best in the USA

The Millard North High School debate and speech programs rank among the best in the nation.

That success was further confirmed when the programs recently ranked among the top seven schools in the nation, earning members in the National Speech and Debate Association's Lucky 7 Society.

"This milestone is remarkable because it demonstrates outstanding commitment to teaching students essential life skills -- including communication, research, listening, writing and organization," a release from the NSDA said.

The speech team is led by Sabrina Denney Bull. You may remember that it won the Class A state title in March, the team's first in 20 years. The debate team, led by Aarron Schurevich, earned its third consecutive state title later in the month.
